The First Move.
When electric vehicles first arrived in Australia, charging was still in its early days. We were there from the beginning, helping shape an industry that was only just getting started.
Founded by Tim Washington and Ellen Liang, JET Charge was built on a belief that electric transport would change the way Australia moves. They rolled up their sleeves, learnt the technology firsthand and installed some of Australia's first EV chargers. That hands-on approach still defines who we are today.
The Industry Changed. So Did We.
What started with home charging quickly grew into something much bigger. Businesses began electrifying their fleets. Workplaces installed charging for employees. Developers planned charging into new buildings. Charging was no longer just about installing hardware — it had become critical infrastructure.
We evolved with it, growing into Australia's commercial EV charging specialist and helping organisations plan, deploy and maintain the infrastructure behind the transition.
